1 st - Friday, Irish Session, O'neil's, Washington St., Salem, MA, with Paul Harty and Fiddling
Thomsons, 6 - 9 PM.
Massachusetts, beginners and families welcome.
Mansfield Middle School, Mansfield Massachussetts, Rm. 108, 8:00pm to 8:50pm. tips for
getting started, where to get a fiddle, reasons for playing lefty, bring your questions, try
out a left handed violin!
23 rd - Tuesday, Phillips Exeter Academy Faculty Concert of traditional folk music, featuring
Fiddling Thomsons(Ryan Thomson is a faculty member), and other music faculty. 7 PM in
the old stone Phillips church on the corner of Front Street and Tan Lane, in Exeter, New
Hampshire. Free to the public.
27 th - Saturday night, public Contra Dance for GALA (Global Awareness Local Action), with
Fiddling Thomsons and friends, in the Ossipee Town Hall Gym, Ossipee, New Hampshire.
The dance starts at 7PM, ends at 10:00 PM. The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for students and
seniors, and $3 for youth.
Parade, to celebrate the return of the local farms’ cows coming to graze for the season in
the museum pastures. 1- 3 PM, free to the public.
31 st - Friday, Pickwicks Mercantile, Fiddling Thomsons 6 - 9 PM, 64 State Street,
Portsmouth, New Hampshire. free. This is part of a city wide "Shop Portsmouth Friday
Nights" kickoff, with discounts, stores open late, entertainment, etc.
27 th - Saturday, Canterbury Fair, Fiddling Thomsons, mid day performance, Canterbury, NH
30 th - Friday, Factory Court Concert Series, Fiddling Thomsons, downtown Rochester, New
Hampshire, USA, 11:45 AM - 1:30 PM, free and open to the public.
return for their second year to teach at this wonderful weekend music camp in central
Pennsylvania. There are many workshops, jams, dancing, in all styles of folk music and
instruments, including performances by honored musicians of Pennsylvania heritage.
