Chicken Cheek Tweakers old time string band, with Ryan Thomson, Pam Ostergren, and Dave Brown, perform on stage at Old Town State Park in San Diego mid May, in 1974.

The Chicken Cheek Tweakers performed every Sunday afternoon on the stage at Old Town State Park in San Diego. They busked throughout the city of San Diego and played for the old time contra and square dances at San Diego State University. Their repertoire included old time tunes and songs popular in the 1920’s and 30s, such as Old Mother Flanigan, The Baltimore Fire, and the Chinese Breakdown.
